What Is the Iceliner Express™

The Iceliner Express™ was born as a movement‑based reflective system. I built it because I needed a world where emotional physics made sense. A world where you could move through what you’re carrying instead of being crushed under it. A world where internal experience could be externalized, navigated, and changed.
I’ve lived in the tunnels. I’ve walked the tracks. I’ve climbed out of the wells.
The Iceliner Express™ is the system I designed to help me navigate the sideways static — and now I’m sharing it with others who need a way through their own internal landscape.

 

This project blends eight layers of creative DNA as an instructional method:

 

• lived experience

• mythic structure

• sci‑fi anomalies

• emotional resonance

• model railroading as physical language

• crafting as texture

• my modality as meaning engine

• humor and chaos as spark

Who I Am

 

My name is Donna Millar and I build worlds.

 

I’m a writer, mythic curator, poet, and lifelong creator. I create worlds the way some people build sanctuaries — slowly, intentionally, and out of the pieces of my life. The Iceliner Express™ grew out of a lifetime of moves, losses, and the quiet moments that survived regardless of what life handed me. 

 

The Iceliner Express™ is part of my recovery, my craft, and my legacy. It’s how I organize thoughts, metabolize experience, and turn chaos into meaning. I want to share it with whoever stumbles upon this website.

What This Project Represents

 

The Iceliner Express™ is more than a model train layout. It’s a symbolic way to organize thoughts and challenges. It’s a sanctuary. It’s a story told in terrain, bridges, districts, and tiny human moments.

 

Every module — from Hollowfield to the Nibble and Bait shop, from Clarity Bridge to the Swimming Pool — is a chapter in a larger narrative about resilience, memory, and transformation.

Where this World Is Going

What the Iceliner Express™ is becoming —  

A 40‑card reflective deck for the in‑between — the place where falling turns into rising.

​

The Iceliner Express™ is a movement‑based, metaphor‑anchored way to catch the strange little static moments in your own life — the ones that only appear when you look from a slant.  It is a narrative-based process crafting modality using handmade diorama photography with modular physical sets built by a combat veteran Buddhist who developed the modality from her own trauma recovery. There’s no “unlike other decks” because there ARE no other decks.
